メタデータによる知人ネットワークの表現
Joiのブロッグで「FOAFに日本語を入れる話がrdfweb-devのMLで出ました」として紹介されていたFOFA。友達のネットワークをメタデータで表現するFOAF(The 'friend of a friend' project)。単なるネットワーク構造だけでなく、ブロッグでも記事の信頼性・信憑性を測る仕組みとして使えないかな、と思います。
メタデータによる知人ネットワークの表現FOAFはRDF/XMLを使って人々に関する情報（メタデータ）とそのつながりを公開、共有するための半ば実用的、半ば実験（少し遊び）的なプロジェクトです。FOAFを使ってマシンにも扱える自己紹介を記述したり、人や組織、関心領域のネットワーク情報をエージェントに処理させるといった応用が試みられており、RSSとの関連でウェブログなどでも注目され始めています。

In the last entry's comments I came up with a little germ of an idea. Let's flesh it out a little:
Dave's You Know Me button idea is great, but the implementation seems both long winded and all-or-nothing (which I don't like). So here's my alternative:

A simple addition to discussion group software makes it easy for a user to go to one place to monitor all conversations he or she is part of. As an extra bonus, it forms the basis for global identity. All that's needed is one new user interface concept, to be supported by most or all discussion group applications, and a simple protocol.

There's been a lot of discussion lately (Ben, Bill, Justin) about building secure, cross-site identity systems, much of that discussion now centering on how FOAF could be used as the core of such a system. And Eric Sigler wrote a first step towards such a system by fetching a FOAF file and extracting out name, email address, and homepage, then sticking those into Movable Type comment fields.
I got to playing around with FOAF and RDF::Core. Frankly, it took me a little while to wrap my head around how to use the API, but after I did, writing a FOAF implementation in Perl was fairly straightforward.

preview したあと post したら、デコードされちゃったみたいで、意味不明になってしまいました。さきほどのコメントでの指摘箇所は
<foaf:foaf:msnChatID>nobuhiro_seki@hotmail.com</foaf:msnChatID>
です。(また、デコードされちゃうかなぁ?)

foaf:foafと間違って連続してあるということですか?
とりあえずそう解釈して直してみましたが、今度は大丈夫でしょうか?
